If you're experiencing a 'lights out' situation, a faulty socket or a light that isn't working, the safest thing to do is to let us know so that we can come and sort things out for you. If you're not a qualified electrician, electrics are not the place to fulfil your appetite for DIY. Want to know why? Because if you stick something into a live outlet it has the power to stop your heart

We don't just turn up, change a faulty light or socket and present you with the bill. We understand that there are reasons why each of these items are failing. We make it our mission to identify the root of problems and to solve them. Safely and permanently

We don't act like we're doing you a favour. We arrive 60 to 90 minutes after you have informed us that there is an Electrical problem. We then take our time to investigate, talk you through the issue(s) and provide you with a Quote for resolving them

The Law

You are required to ensure that any electrical devices within a rental property are safe for use

Get in touch

Reach out to us by phone or email and we will get your annual Installation Survey or Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) scheduled in for you with one of our Electricians so you can be sure you are compliant

Visit

Our Electrician will arrive and carry out an investigation and test all electrical installations in the property

Report

If it is found that your appliances do not pass the Installation Survey, we will produce a report for you that will include: which tests were carried out, pictures, any problems identified alongside a Quote for further work

Further work

If any safety issues are identified during the checks and we have provided you with a Quote for further works you can instruct us to carry out these works

Further work agreed

Once you have given us the green light we will agree a time and day to visit in order to permanently resolve the issues that were identified during the checks

Last bits

If all is ok after our initial Survey once the further recommended work has been completed we will send the 'passed' Electrical Certificate over to you through email and via the post

The Law

That any appliance provided is safe and has at least the CE marking (which is the manufacturer’s claim that it meets all the requirements of European law)

Visit

Our Electrician will arrive and carry out a a visual inspection of all the appliances, their plugs and leads. Equipment will also be used to inject test signals into the cables and appliances to ensure their integrity

Report

If it is found that your appliances do not pass the PAT test, we will produce a report for you that will include: which appliances were tested, any problematic appliances identified. A visible pass or fail label will be placed on any failed appliances and we will advise you on further action required

Visit

Our Electricians fix the issue at the first visit if possible. If not the will leave the property in a safe condition

Report

We will produce a Report for you that will include: pictures, problems identified, recommendations made alongside a Quote for further works

Further work

Once you have given us the green light we will agree a time and day to visit and permanently resolve the electrical issues once and for all
